Just received good news from Natalia (Tara's breeder). Eppu's kids (from his litter with beautiful " Margo" BIS Int. Ch Pozhar v Kremle Intriga Teadora) are taking part in dog shows (still Baby/Puppy Class) and here are the latest lovely results!!

14.8.2009 Eppu's 4th Birthday

With Tara's show news and posting pictures of Eppu's sons I actually (horrible me) completely forgot to congratulate our Eppu himself! Eppu has reached respectable age of 4-years-old. Time really flies by and it is hard to imagine him being so "adult and mature". He is my first whippet and the reason why I wanted to get my second whippet Vili. 

Eppu is very handsome, athletic and gorgeous whippet, a real stripy tiger. Generally very easy going fellow with a very sweet character. Though we have fairly big dog family at home, Eppu still remains my firm favourite (don't tell the others) from the pack as he is my darling! 

Eppu is retired from the showring, but we hope to pursue his favourite sport lure-coursing in the future. Eppu has produced two very special and lovely litters as well (as you can see from this blog and our www-page). I would like to thank Merike (owner of Lilly) and Natalia (owner of Margo) for selecting Eppu as the father for these litters. It is a delight to follow the development of these puppies from little babies to adult dogs and to hear that Eppu's kids bring loads of joy and happiness to their owners. 

Happy Birthday my Sweet Eppu and hope to have you with us for many more years to come!

12.8.2009 New pic of Eppu's son Faba

What a day! First I got some new pics of Seti and Reino and now a new picture of their brother Faba (Satangin Always and Forever) who lives in Rovaniemi with family Tallavaara. Very handsome young dog and I just love the dark brindle colour. It seems that all the three boys are enjoying their lives with their families and growing up to be very handsome whippet males!

12.8.2009 New pictures of brothers Seti & Reino

Today I received some wonderful pictures of Eppu's sons from his first litter with Lilly (Est JCh, Est & Lv Ch Satangin Jasmin Tea, http://jasmint.webs.com/progeny.htm ). Reino (Satangin A La Armani, http://apinalaumatarinoi.vuodatus.net/ - you just have to check out the latest news there. There are some amazing rabbit chasing pictures there!!) and Seti (Est JW-09 Est W-9 Satangin After the Sunset, red fawn so that you can tell them apart) live quite close to each other and they had an opportunity to meet and spend some time together, even ran together on the track. 

It is so nice to see how the boys are developing and getting along so well (also daddy Eppu is thrilled to hear that they are track running as it is his passion as well). They both look absolutely gorgeous and many thanks to their owners for taking such a good care of them. You can just see how happy the dogs are (the last picture is from the track after the run)!

9.8.2009 Helsinki Puppy Show: Tara BB-1, BOB, GROUP-2

We are so proud of out little Tara! Today, at her first Puppy Show in Helsinki Baby Class (5- under 7 months) she was BB-1 (awarded with a Honorary Prize), BOB and GROUP-2. Judge was a Breed Specialist Raisa Savander and she gave a lovely critique of Tara:

Very lovely/endearing 5 month old. Very beautiful lines. Beautiful head. Good eyes and ears. Good front. Broad chest. Beautifully angulated back. Good paws & coat. Moves beautifully.

1.8.2009 Satangin Absolute Carrots show success

Our Eppus daughter Carry has done it again. Winning EXC/1, CAC, BOB and BIG-2 in a national show in Ülenurme, Estonia. Judge was Åke Sjöström from Sweden. Many congratulations to Carry and her family for the success!!!!!
