12.5.2013 Lure-coursing up-date
I am now up-dating everything as I go. Lure-coursing news 1013 from "Pilkku" Manoush Sy Snootles. He has been very active in coursing and so far competed in 3 competitions with very good results.

12.5.2013 News from Germany
"Mei" Manoush Padmé Amidala is living comfortably in Germany with her beloved family Mira and Janne. She was taken part in some shows. Latest news from from Dresden. She competed in intermediate class and was Excellent-1, CQ (SA) and got a res-CC and BB-3!!!! Super news!!! Judge was Caroline v. Zanten from Netherlands. Here is the critique in Finnish:
"1v. ja 10kk vanha erittäin hyvänlaatuinen nuori narttu, erittäin kaunis pää, oikeat silmät, korvat ja hampaat, erittäin kaunis pitkä kaula, valitettavasti vähän liian laskeutuva selkälinja. mutta erittäin oikeanlaiset kylkiluunmuodot (?), rintakehän syvyys ja eturinta. vahvat luut ja oikeanlaiset tassut. seisoo myös erittäin hyvin kinnernivelillä. erittäin kaunis turkki. erittäin kauniit sivuliikkeet, mennessä oikeanlaiset, tullessa hieman leveät liikkeet. ystävällinen käytös."
" 1-year and 10-month old high quality bitch pup, very beautiful head, correct eyes, ears and teeth, very beautiful long neck, unfortunately her topline lowers a bit approaching rear, but very correct ribcage (?), depth of chest and front. Strong bones, correct paws, stands excellently on her hocks (?), very beautiful top coat,. Very beautiful side movements, correct also in going, a bit wide coming. Friendly behaviour."

Here are some lovely pictures and news sent by the owners of our Tara´s pups.. We are always very excited to see them and also it is super nice to hear how everyone is doing in their "chosen path" :D.
"Manu" Manoush Dexter Jettster took part in his second show in Tuusniemi on 24.2. and judge was again a whippet specialist and breed judge Åke Cronander from Sweden (kennel Albicans). We were thrilled that Manu got an Excellent from him and was placed 2nd in competition class. Well done Team Manu!!!!
"Mano"´s family sent use some new candid pictures of the little firecracker.. he is maturing nicely and we expect great things from him, once he starts his coursing career. Mano is very keen and enthusiastic after the lure and last week he was at the Hyvinkää race track at the practices and ran really really well. Look forward to seeing him race officially! Good job keeping him in super condition Anne and family!

Our Brutus at the same practices as well (ran with his mum Tara for the first time :D). Field was too wet for coursing training so we were happy to try out track racing instead.. it was the beginning of our club´s training sessions this summer. Luhtilaukkaajat rules! 12.5.2013 Some fresh up-dates!!!
I can´t believe I´ve managed to stay away from our blog for this long ;D. I think up-dating facebook comes so naturally so this has just been left behind a "bit". So now we start with some news. Most of the winter, we´ve pretty much kept ourselves quiet, but today, we attended our first show in months.
Both Iris (Manoush Deliah Blue) and his brother Brutus (Manoush Darth Tyranus) were in intermediate class and our judge was a breed specialist Unto Timonen from Woodbrook´s world famous whippet kennel. I had been looking forward to showing my dogs to him and this was our first opportunity to do so. After a long winter break we were perhaps a bit "rusty" in the ring performance, but I am very pleased to tell that Brutus was EXC-2 & CQ (SA) in his class and he was eventually placed as Best Male-4!!!! Iris, of course wasn't left behind. She won her class with an EXC-1 & CQ (SA) and was placed as well 4th in Best Bitch ring!!! What a super way to start our new show year!! Next show will be our Speciality show in June.. Mother Tara will be going there as well.. so I have a bit of dogs to shows :D.
