6.6.2011 Tallinn success!!!!!

We had a lovely show visit to Tallinn, Estonia last weekend. We attended two shows with our Dante and also had an opportunity to see father of Tara's puppies Marcus again in action. Show training with Dante has done wonders and he performed really nicely. He got and Exc/3 in Open Class and was placed 4th in CAC ring (in Sighthound Special). On Sunday he did even better being second after Marcus in Open Class with and Exc and was placed 3rd Best Male. Well done Dante!

Marcus was obviously the super star whippet of the weekend winning Best of Breed both days (and Best in Show-2 on Saturday's speciality). It was lovely to see Meri and Ahti as well and Meri did a superb job handling Marcus! Again we saw in Marcus exactly the reasons why we wanted him to be the daddy. Superb looking male with beautiful lines, wonderful head and expression, super movements. We cannot wait for this litter to be born!!!!

I hope to add a few pics of Dante in the show later on. I am very proud of him!!!

I think she does look bigger in the pics that what she is in real life, but can't deny her

belly is showing very very clear signs of her pregnancy.

28.5.2011 Bully-gene (Myostatin) test result

We just received some good new that Tara isn't carrying the so called Bully-gene! So her test came back all clear!!! Now we are just waiting for her belly to grow a bit more and only about 3 wks to go now!

25.5.2011 Baby Bump watch

Tara is fully enjoying her babybelly and her extra food. She is mainly eating puppy food, Nutrolin Puppy Oil, cottage cheese and plenty of meat. In the beginning she was suffering from morning sickness, but those days are over and she is eating with a healthy appetite. She is currently eating around 3 to 4 times (small meals) a day and you can see the result below :D
